OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a holistic treatment and management manual healthcare service that can help with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Osteopath's see each patient's condition as unique and therefore treatment and management commonly varies from person to person. They look at the whole system of a patient and search for the cause of the pain.
Osteopath's have a wide range of hands-on techniques they use. These techniques include but are not limited to: soft-tissue massage, stretching, muscle activation, joint articulation, joint manipulation, dry needling, cupping, indirect muscle and joint release, PNF/MET and myofascial release.
Osteopath's provide you with education and advice, to help you manage your condition, and this may include exercises and stretches to do between your appointments.
Osteopaths work closely with other health professionals to provide you with a holistic approach to your healthcare. They can also refer you for medical imaging if the need arises.
